Who is eligible?

Any UK resident aged 18 and over can apply. As an ethical bank, The Co-operative Bank works to a policy of responsible lending so you are more likely to be accepted if you meet some of the following criteria:

  • Have a good credit history - no County Court Judgements, Bankruptcy orders or accounts in serious arrears
  • Are aged 21 or over 
  • Have a minimum income of £12,000 p.a. gross
  • Have a credit/debit card already
  • Are a homeowner

How to apply for a card

  • If you are applying for a YBS mortgage loan you can apply for a credit card at the same time
  • If you are not applying for a mortgage but would like a credit card, either:


      


    Applicants must be UK residents aged 18 years or over. Credit facilities are provided by The Co-operative Bank p.l.c. (registered no. 990937) and are subject to status. The Bank reserves the right to decline any application.
